Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Building Hardware, we specialize in high-quality home improvement goods. Because our products vary from large dustbins to small heavy safes, we use a calculated shipping structure to ensure your order arrives safely and at the best possible rate.

1. Dispatch & Processing

All orders require an internal processing time of up to 2 working days for quality inspection and secure packaging. Your delivery timeline begins once the order is dispatched from our facility.

2. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Transit times are based on the total weight and volume of your package:

*Note: Larger items often reach major city centers within 4-5 days, but we provide a 7-day window for logistics safety.

3. Shipping Cost Calculations

In accordance with standard courier policies, shipping rates are calculated based on either the actual weight or the volumetric size of the package—whichever is greater. This ensures that large, lightweight items (such as dustbins) are billed fairly based on the space they occupy in the vehicle.

4. Subsidized Shipping

We recognize that shipping heavy/ bulky home hardware can be expensive. To support our customers, we subsidize a portion of these costs. The shipping fee you pay at checkout is a shared cost, with Building Hardware bearing the remainder of the logistical expense.

5. Shipping Fees & Returns

  • Non-Refundability: Please note that all shipping charges are paid to third-party couriers and are strictly non-refundable.

  • Return Shipping: As per our Refund Policy, the courier costs for returning or exchanging a product are to be borne by the customer.

  • Restocking Fee: For any order originally sent with Free Shipping that is returned for an exchange, a 3% restocking fee will be applied. This covers the initial shipping subsidy, warehouse handling, and administrative overheads for the new exchange.

6. Important Delivery Notes

  • Inspection Upon Receipt: We recommend inspecting your package immediately. Any claims for damages or incorrect articles must be raised within 3 days of receipt with pictorial proof.

  • Electronic Products: These items are non-refundable. We provide proof of functionality before delivery to ensure your peace of mind.
