The Philips 7000 Series DDL720MVP-17HWS Palm Vein Smart Door Lock, identified in Philips documentation as the DDL720-MVP-17HWS, is designed to provide secure and convenient keyless access.

Its touch-free palm-vein recognition technology uses near-infrared light to identify the unique vein pattern inside a registered user’s palm. This provides an alternative for users whose fingerprints may be difficult to recognize.
